Dr. Linda Brandts, Assistant Principal
I look forward to workingat Cimarron as Assistant Principal for the 2013-2014 school year. Cimarron is known as being a school ofexcellence and I am excited to work with the staff, students, and families.
This is my 17thyear in education. I have taught gradesK, 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, & 8th as well as University levelclasses. I have a diverse backgroundsuch as working on curriculum committees, Instructional Support Teacher, BTSASupport Provider, Mentor Teacher, GATE, EL, and AVID coordinator, Dean ofstudent, to name a few. I earned myAssociates of Arts degree from the Antelope Valley College, Bachelors degree inLiberal Studies from California State University of Bakersfield, Masters degreein Education from National University, and my Doctorate degree inAdministration from The University of the Pacific.
I am very passionateabout education and doing my best to ensure students are successful. I pride myself in building relationships withall stakeholders and being an active participant with the school site andcommunity. Again, I look forward to agreat year at Cimarron.
