Good day to all. My name is Scott Whitney. I am the 6th - 7th grade teacher here at Oak Tree. First of all let me state that I am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach your children. Throughout the course of a day I expect to be called upon to be an educational guide, mentor, coach, curriculum facilitator and friend to all my students. My greatest gifts are in what I am willing to give as well as receive from the students. I come from a varied and rich background. I have a MBA as well as an undergraduate degree in Economics. I am an accomplished jazz and classical musician performing both locally and internationally. I am trained in the Los Angeles County Office of Education’s digital classroom. I have been commended for my commitment to and demonstration of higher behavioral, attitudinal and academic standards. I am excited at the prospects and possibilities this school year will bring. If you have any questions, concerns or comments please feel free to call me at (661) 285-1548.
