MEP Annual Student Art Exhibit:

  • Students participate in a Showcase Event at the end of the Migrant Education school session in which parents, teachers, District Administrators, and interested community members view the finished projects in a setting to give recognition to the students who have completed their project goals.

MEP Annual Student Conference:

  • The MEP Annual Student Conference offers students in grades 4-8 the opportunity to gain important information through workshops that focus on the importance of continuing education into the university level. The conference features workshops in areas of technology, art, critical thinking, health, and university requirements.

Annual Toy Distribution:

  • The MEP Annual Student Conference offers students in grades 4-8 the opportunity to gain important information through workshops that focus on the importance of continuing education into the university level. The conference features workshops in areas of technology, art, critical thinking, health, and university requirements.

MEP Annual Parent Conference:

  • The MEP Annual Parent Conference offers participants the opportunity to gain vital information and develop leadership skills. The conference features workshops in areas of leadership on topics ranging from Programs for English Learners to Helping Your Child Prepare for College. Other workshops center on health education and art.

    Guest speakers have included: NASA, Migrant Artist Eleazar Martinez, Artist/Author Simon Silva, Regional Migrant Director Lupe Mendoza and Regional Parent Facilitator Carmela Diaz.

Thanksgiving Basket Distribution:

  • Through the collaboration of St. Stephen’s Church and Pastor Berry, over 50 food baskets are distributed during the Thanksgiving holiday.
