    CALIFORNIA CHAMPIONS FOR CHANGE -Champions for Change is a statewide movement inspiring California’s families to make healthy lifestyle changes and supporting them along the way.

    CHOOSEMYPLATE.ORG - ChooseMyPlate.org provides practical information to individuals, health professionals, nutrition educators, and the food industry to help consumers build a nutritious meal.

    FOODPLAY PRODUCTIONS:

    KAISER PERMANENTE'S EDUCATION THEATRE - Kaiser Permanente’s Educational Theatre inspires children, teens and adults to make informed decisions about their health and build stronger communities. All programs are a free, community benefit of Kaiser Permanente. 

    KIDSHEALTH.ORG - KIDS HEALTH IN THE CLASSROOM - KidsHealth in the Classroom offers educators free health-related lesson plans for PreK - 12th grade. Each Teacher's Guide includes discussion questions, classroom activities and extensions, printable handouts, and quizzes and answer keys - all aligned to National Health Education Standards.

    TEAM NUTRITION - Team Nutrition is an initiative of the USDA Food and Nutrition Service to support healthy eating and physical activity throughout the school and community.  This website has may resources (graphics, webinars, curriculum, information, etc.)  that can be used throughout the school.

    TEAM NUTRITION POPULAR EVENTS IDEA BOOKLET - Team Nutrition Popular Events Idea Booklet (K-8) helps your school promote nutrition and physical activity.  This events idea booklet will get you started: ideas for 20 themed events; spotlights of real-life events at Team Nutrition schools; handouts, templates, and other free resources to support events; ways to team up for success; and help make connections for school, home, cafeteria, classroom, community, and media.

    PASSPORT TO NUTRITION (3-6) - Passport to Nutrition (Grades 3 -6)  is a bundle of free resources dedicated to the teaching and learning of nutritious eating habits, containing resources for teachers, students, and the community.

    INSPIRING HEALTHY COMMUNITIES (6-8) - Inspiring Healthy Communities (Grades 6 - 8), the newest report in the series highlights the collective impact and comprehensive approach of the Youth-led Participatory Action Research (YPAR) projects in Los Angeles County. These projects strategically connect schools with their larger communities and leverage genuine youth and adult partnerships in supporting youth voice for healthy community change, in communities that need it the most.
