Hello Yucca Families,

Once again, I am honored to serve as the principal of Yucca Elementary School.  I started my career as a teacher with the Palmdale School District in 2000.  However, before I was an employee, I was involved as a parent with the Palmdale School District because my own two sons received their elementary education at Buena Vista Elementary School from kindergarten through eighth grades.  As a general education teacher, I taught fourth through sixth grades at Golden Poppy School for six years.  For the next four years, I served as Golden Poppy’s Curriculum Resource Teacher. I then served as an assistant principal at various schools in our district for the next six years and then became the principal of Yucca Elementary. I look forward to continuing to serve the students and the families of Yucca Elementary.

Hello Yucca Families!

I am honored to be the Assistant Principal at Yucca Elementary! I started as a teacher in Palmdale School District during the 2006-2007 school year at Chaparral. After teaching 4^th and 6^th grades, I became a Learning Support Teacher (LST). As a LST, I served both Chaparral and Tamarisk Schools. I became an assistant principal in 2017. I believe that we all are life-long learners and am dedicated to the students and families I serve at not only Yucca but the Palmdale School District as well.
