  • Welcome Back to School Chaparral Families!

As Chaparral’s new Assistant Principal, I must tell you that I am looking forward to an incredible 2019-2020 school year!

When school begins in August, I will be embarking on my 23rd year as a California educator. I began my career serving the Los Angeles Unified School District in 1997, transferred to the Lancaster School District in 2004 and came to the Palmdale School District in October of 2018. As a former teacher and instructional coach, I bring to the district a wealth of knowledge and experience serving both general and special education students and their families in grades K – 8th.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degrees in Sociology and Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. I currently hold a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Cal State LA and an Education Specialist Mild/Moderate Credential from Cal State Bakersfield. I earned my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Chapman University.

Every day I am inspired by the students and staff that I serve. I feel grateful to partner with such dedicated individuals and diverse families to help every child in the Palmdale School District reach their greatest potential. I am extremely proud to be a part of this amazing school community and look forward to all that we plan to accomplish together.
