My name is Mrs. Melissa Gorrindo and I’m extremely excited to be the Assistant Principal of Desert Willow Magnet Academy for the 2020-21 school year.  This is my fourth year as an Assistant Principal for the Palmdale School District. I have over eleven years of experience in education serving in many different capacities.  I served as an administrative designee, teacher, and coach. I have taught elementary, middle school, high school and at the junior college level.

My educational background includes a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Administration from Concordia University Irvine and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from San Diego State University.  I look forward to serving the students, parents, and staff at Desert Willow and I will strive to provide every student with the tools necessary to leave ready for success in high school and beyond.
