I am truly excited to be serving at Los Amigos Dual Immersion School and the Palmdale School District! This is my eleventh year with PSD and it is an honor to be your Assistant Principal this school year.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administrative Leadership from California State University, Northridge. I also hold a Teaching Credential and have recently obtained a Clear Administrative Service Credential. Previous to being an Assistant Principal for our district, I taught 4th and 6th grades for about ten years, first at Tamarisk Elementary and then Tumbleweed Elementary. During my time as a classroom teacher, I also held leadership roles of an EL Leader, administrative intern, mentor teacher, and served on the school leadership team. Before leaving the classroom in 2017, I was recognized as Teacher of the Year for my school site. I have worked and plan to continue to work closely with families, students, and teachers to plan and guide students towards their academic achievement.
I feel very fortunate to be part of the Los Amigos Family and strive to continue to work hard alongside students, parents, and the rest of our school community to continue to guide students to become fully bilingual and bi-literate, and achieve the Palmdale Promise!
