Hello Palm Tree Families!
It is a wonderful honor to be the Assistant Principal at Palm Tree Elementary School. For the past 23 years, I have been a part of the Palmdale School District team serving in the following capacities: Head Start teacher and then promoted to Lead Teacher, general education teacher, Administrative Intern, and now an Assistant Principal at Palm Tree Elementary School. Although I plan on being a lifelong learner, throughout my educational journey thus far I have attained the following degrees and credentials: An Associate’s degree and credential in Early Childhood Education from Antelope Valley College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from Morris College, A California Teaching Credential from California State University Bakersfield, a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from National University and an Administrative Credential through the ACSA Clear Administrative Credentialing Program.
I believe all students can learn, so my goals have been and will always be to ensure that all students are given the opportunity to reach their highest potential academically in a caring, safe, and inviting environment involving all stakeholders. My passion and determination for ensuring that students are educated at high levels were fueled by my great grandmother who required my siblings and I to strive for academic excellence, because she knew education would open doors for us that were closed to her, because of a lack of education. Also, my amazing husband and five fabulous children inspire me continuously to motivate the future generation to reach their highest potential by their own determination to inspire others to greatness.
