Larry Lueck

  • I have been in education for 31 years.  I began my teaching career in Spokane, Washington after graduating from Eastern Washington University with a degree in Elementary Education with a K12 Reading emphasis.  My first teaching job was as a third grade teacher at Garfield Elementary.

In 1989, I moved to Palmdale and began teaching at Cactus K-8 School.  While in Palmdale, I taught 2nd, 3rd, 6th, and 8th grade.

In 2003, I became an assistant principal at Chaparral Elementary and Mesa Intermediate.  After serving as the assistant principal at Mesa for three years, I took a position as the principal of Alpine School in the Keppel Union School District.  In 2012, I returned to the Palmdale School District as the assistant principal at Ocotillo Elementary School.  In 2015, I became the principal at Ocotillo.  This school year I am proud to be the principal at SAGE Magnet Academy where I look forward to helping improve the educational experience
    for all students.
