Alison Villalba

• Alison Villalba is an 11th-grade student at Palmdale Academy Charter School who brings a passion for advocacy and excellence to the Board of Trustees. Originally a student at Academia Avance Charter School, Alison has become a standout leader in our district, navigating a challenging curriculum that includes AP Seminar and Honors-level sciences.
  
  Beyond her academic achievements, Alison is a pillar of her school community. She participates in Soccer, Cross Country, and Folklorico, and serves her peers through ASB and Link Crew. Her long-term goal of practicing law drives her interest in governance; as a Student Trustee, she aims to bridge the gap between district administration and the diverse student population she represents/

Clarissa Guerrero

• Representing the district's middle school voices, Clarissa Guerrero is a 7th-grade student at Shadow Hills Engineering & Design Magnet Academy. Clarissa brings a unique blend of technical curiosity and humanities-focused leadership to the Board. Whether she is studying engineering in her Science of Technology course or collaborating with peers in ASB, Clarissa is dedicated to the success of her school community.
  
  A veteran soccer player with over five years of experience, Clarissa understands the value of teamwork and persistence. These traits inform her future goal of entering the legal profession to defend human rights. Clarissa’s mission as a Student Trustee is to foster a culture of respect and effective communication, ensuring that every student’s opinion is heard and valued by district leadership.
