    Roberto Lopez a was born and raised in the Los Angeles area. He has a daughter, Mia Isabella Lopez, who attends a school in the Palmdale School District.

    Mr. Lopez attended Lincoln High School in Los Angeles. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and his Master’s degree from California State University, Northridge.

    Roberto began teaching in 1992 for the Los Angeles Unified School District as a Bilingual Teacher. He also served as a bilingual coordinator attending to English Learners needs. He began his school administrator career with the Palmdale School District in 2008. He was an Assistant Principal at Mesquite Elementary and Cactus Intermediate. After two years at Cactus, he was assigned as a Principal at Yucca Elementary. He was then assigned as the Principal of Summerwind Elementary and David G. Millen Intermediate the same year. After three years he was assigned to Manzanita Elementary where he is currently serving as the Principal.

    Mr. Lopez enjoys being an school administrator where he is able to help students, parents and the community.
