Aricsa Lopez

  • Aricsa Lopez is currently a student at David G Millen Law and Government Magnet Academy and previously attended Ocotillo elementary. She will attend Highland High School, and, with her athletic skills hopefully earn a full-ride scholarship to USC. She is a GATE student and has been on honor roll all of 5th grade and 6th grade. Aricsa knows the value of an education and would like to pursue a business degree at USC and perhaps one day have her own fashion line.  Through her studies at Millen, she is also interested in the idea of being a police officer or a homicide detective.  At Millen she is involved in ASB, ICC, Track, Yearbook and Basketball. ASB has opened her mind to new possibilities and has shaped her into the best version of herself.  In yearbook she takes on the head position of Marketing Manager and writer. Additionally, ICC gives her a way to be a part of something bigger - including running for, and being elected to, Student Board Member.  She considers this an honor and has promised herself that the ideas of the youth community will be heard and brought to appropriate and professional attention.
