Mrs. Lisa Aqenenni
Mrs. Lisa Aqenenni has been involved in education since 2003. Lisa received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Chapman University in 2003, Master’s Degree in Education in 2007 and her Administrative Credential in 2013.
She began her teaching career in the Antelope Valley Union High School District as a Resource Specialist Teacher in 2003. In her time with the high school district, she spent time as a Special Education Instructional Coach, department chair and testing coordinator at Palmdale High School. Lisa also served two years as Palmdale High School Swim Coach and later became an official for the district swim meets.
In 2013, she left the high school district to pursue her desire to enter into administration. Since coming to the Palmdale School District, she has worked at Shadow Hills Junior High where she started the district’s first RSP Inclusion program at the junior high level. Then at Desert Willow Junior High School where she helped energize their ASB program by bringing back pep rallies and increase school activities.
Since July 2016, Mrs. Aqenenni has worked at Ocotillo Elementary where she is having the opportunity to work with a successful Capturing Kid’s heart campus. Ocotillo Elementary School was recently nominated for a National Showcase school for Capturing Kid’s Hearts.
