The U.S. Department of Education awarded the Magnet Schools Assistance
Program (MSAP) grant to the Palmdale School District.The five-year award will be in the amount of $15,000,000.00
The grant funds will be used to transform Cactus Middle School, David G. Millen Middle School,
Desert Willow Middle School, SAGE Academy and Shadow Hills Middle School,
into school-wide magnet programs. Each magnet theme offers a high caliber, innovative
program of choice, designed to improve the quality of learning and teaching.
