2025-26 ENROLLMENT FOR KINDERGARTEN AND TRANSITIONAL KINDERGARTEN

THE ENTIRE ENROLLMENT PROCESS CAN BE COMPLETED ONLINE!
THE ONLINE REGISTRATION PORTAL OPENS FEBRUARY 14TH, 2025!

  • If your child will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2025, your child is eligible for Kindergarten. (Birth date is between September 2, 2019, and September 1, 2020)

    Students currently attending Transitional Kindergarten in the Palmdale School District do not need to re-enroll for Kindergarten.

  • If your child will be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2025, your child is eligible for Transitional Kindergarten (Birth date is between September 2, 2020, and September 1, 2021)

    Transitional Kindergarten will be offered at all schools except Dos Caminos, Los Amigos, and the Learning Plaza.

  • If your child is younger and does not meet the age requirements for Kindergarten or Transitional Kindergarten, don't hesitate to get in touch with the Early Childhood Education (Preschool) Office at 661-273-4710

PLEASE ENSURE THE FOLLOWING IS COMPLETED:

  1. Complete an Online Enrollment application through our website at www.palmdalesd.org

    1. Click on the following links: Enroll Your Child→ Grades TK-8→ Enroll New Student.

    2. Start New Registration for the 25-26 School Year. Review the instructions for all the enrollment requirements, and complete and submit the Application (before submitting, write down your Online Registration/Application confirmation number). 

  2. Email the required documents to complete the entire enrollment process to: [email protected]
    1. Required information/documents: Application number, Parent/Guardian Photo ID, student’s original birth certificate, immunization record and proof of address. (Format can be a picture or a scanned image).

ARE YOU HAVING PROBLEMS ENROLLING ONLINE OR SENDING DOCUMENTS?

If you cannot complete an online application or email your documents, visit the Welcome and Enrollment Center in Building A at 39139 10th St East, Palmdale, CA 93550.
Our office hours are 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Monday through Friday (except Holidays) after 2/14/25, and you must bring all required information/documents with you.
