2025-26 ENROLLMENT FOR KINDERGARTEN AND TRANSITIONAL KINDERGARTEN

• If your child will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2026, your child is eligible for Kindergarten. (Birth date is between September 2, 2020, and September 1, 2021)

  Students currently attending Transitional Kindergarten in the Palmdale School District do not need to re-enroll for Kindergarten.

• If your child will be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2026, your child is eligible for Transitional Kindergarten (Birth date is between September 2, 2021, and September 1, 2022)

  Transitional Kindergarten will be offered at all schools except Dos Caminos, Los Amigos, and the Learning Plaza.

• If your child is younger and does not meet the age requirements for Kindergarten or Transitional Kindergarten, don't hesitate to get in touch with the Early Childhood Education (Preschool) Office at 661-273-4710

1. Complete an Enrollment application through our website at palmdalesd.org
   1. Click on the following links: Enroll → Grades TK-8 → Enroll New Student
   2. Click on Start New Registration. Review the instructions for all of the enrollment requirements: complete, upload your documents to, and submit the Application.
      
      • Required information/documents: Parent/Guardian Photo ID, Proof of address, student's birth certificate and immunization record.
2. You will receive an email from PSD Enrollment once the application is reviewed.
