Assistant Principal
It is my pleasure to be a part of the administrative team at Desert Willow. As a proud product of the Palmdale School District, it feels incredibly meaningful to serve the very community that helped shape who I am today. From a young age, I knew I wanted to work in education, and that calling became clear in 2003 when I began my journey as a peer counselor at a community college when I was 22 years old. That role sparked a deep passion for supporting students and set the foundation for my career in education. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to serve students in various roles, including Restorative Practices Coordinator, Educational Specialist, and School Counselor. These experiences have given me a well-rounded perspective on how to support students both academically and emotionally. My educational background includes an Associate’s Degree in Social Science from College of the Canyons, a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Chapman University, a Master’s in Educational Counseling from the University of La Verne, and a Master’s in Teaching from Brandman University. I’ve worked in several school districts across Southern California, and I can say with complete confidence that Palmdale is my absolute favorite. I’m excited to continue building strong relationships with students, staff, and families as we work together to support the success and well-being of every child at Desert Willow.
