Dear Chaparral Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! It is a privilege serving as Principal at Chaparral Prep Academy for our families and Bobcat community, and continuing the work together. My commitment to our students and the Palmdale School District family grows deeper each year, and I am truly honored to be on this journey with you. My passion for education started early, watching my mother’s dedication teaching in Los Angeles classrooms. I cherish the power of a strong, loving school community, a principle I bring to Chaparral every single day.

Chaparral Prep Academy is a truly special place. Together with our extraordinary teachers and staff, we are dedicated to fostering academic excellence while nurturing the personal and social emotional growth of every child. Through modernized classrooms and Project-Based Learning, our students collaborate, think critically, and tackle rigorous instruction that prepares them for future success, including opportunities in the District’s Magnet Programs. 

We highly value the active involvement of our Chaparral families and parents within our school community. We know that students thrive when families and schools work hand-in-hand. Your partnership is the heartbeat of our school.
